completed a second year of doing payroll at DishOne
broke my big toe
went on my first cruise
moved 4 times (and am currently homeless... i should post about that)
wrote two and a half songs
almost got engaged
was a bridesmaid twice
was peed on in my sleep by my roommate's cat
had 1 cavity and 1 filling replacement
got highlights for the first time
got my own office at work
became a gym member
read a fair share of books (i don't keep track)
read my first graphic novel
got mono
started tutoring Hector ESL
expanded my knowledge of politics (thanks to NPR and my persuasive writing class)
gave 0 talks (dumb singles wards)
got a laptop
made twelve car payments
In short, 2009 was not my favorite year. Here's what 2010's list will hopefully say -

finished school
finished paying off my car
went to the Dominican Republic and Haiti with Kelly
went to the first Martin family reunion
helped Hector score high on the TOEFL
went to Japan with Mom
met [insert name of true love here]
wrote 3 new songs
recorded my music and made an album
met Julian
wrote my first children's book
got a calling to teach at least once a month (por fin)
read a fair share of books (I still don't keep track)
moved only once, from Provo to [insert new state here]
actually used my gym pass
So 2009, good riddance! You and "Auld Lang Syne" can go wallow in mud.
Here's to 2010!

i read my first graphic novel in 2009 too! we are totally sisters. LOL.
blech. but really, that was kind of depressing. i hope 2010 pans out. for you and me both. and i hope that one move is to las vegas or nearby.
