reflections: bandits in action

in no particular order... though, all particularly nasty.

from "dancon"

having just seen "king kong" may have influenced some of us.

1-2-3-BAM! (my signature move)

does someone need a toilet?

from "an ode to snowball"

sad, sad clowns.

snowball may have been through the wash a few times.

i'm pretty sure the telescope was facing a wall, but we are amazing actors. we even look EXCITED about what we aren't seeing.

i should tell you that these were years ago (although not as many years as there should be between now and then). the first, dancon, was performed to "the sign" by ace of base. the second, "an ode to snowball," was performed to "right here waiting" by richard marx.

i wish i had photo documentation of some of our other productions. we did one about an alien, a pothead, a cow, a farmer, and a sheriff. it might have been our most polished one - background music, costumes, and serious camera work. we did another about a ghost girl who died jumping off an apartment building on liberty st. in franklin. this one was short lived and barely got off the ground (puns intended). and there is yet another about kokopollo, the french, male butterfly with a pink skirt, curly mustache, and blue staff. he would jump at street lamps as we watched from our car as we drove along beside him downtown franklin. and my personal favorite, of which i was not a part, was one made for me while i was away at college freshman year. it's about the ghost of the candy caboose man with a spatula-hand who had a hankering for pancakes, and who haunts the belmar bridge leaving trails of candy behind him. rip, kelly and missie.

and so for those of you who had no idea i was (am?) this lame, you're now in the know.
